St. Patrick’s Day Parade with Mairead McKeon and Olivia Dooley
We yarnbombed a vintage tractor courtesy of Val Pierce as our very first entry in the parade in Headford and won in the Best Traditional category. We brightened up an otherwise very wet and windy parade in Headford for St. Patrick’s Day 2017. Members came out to march with yarnbombed umbrellas and the new yarnbombers banner, and the penny farthing made an appearance also. We had loads of support and are reported to have coloured up an otherwise dull day. We like to have a laugh and to bring colour with us wherever we go.
