From Headford With Love – with Textile Artist Ester Kiely
For our annual Headfest Community Festival local Textile Artist Ester Kiely created a large scale, site-specific yarn installation with the Headford Yarnbombers at our playground at Moyne Villa to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Headford. In a number of creative wool workshops leading up to the festival Ester crocheted a beautiful image of a bird and showed us how to embroider letters onto knitted envelopes.
